Bahrain: Commercial and Industrial Shops Open Tomorrow

Based on the recommendations made by the National Taskforce to Combat COVID-19, the below guidelines will be followed starting 7th May, at 7PM.

Commercial and industrial shops providing direct goods and services can resume usual operation, provided that the following conditions are met:

• All employees and customers are required to wear face masks inside the premises.
• The number of individuals across the facilities should be limited. Social distancing guidelines should be followed.
• Stores and facilities are to be regularly and thoroughly disinfected.
• Appropriately spaced floor markings for queueing should be placed at the entrance of the store.

Meanwhile, the private sector is urged to encourage remote working wherever possible. The number of employees present in an office as well as in transportation services should also be limited.
