Bahrain court orders showroom to refund BD5,300 for defective car
A Bahrain court has ordered a car showroom to refund a customer BD5,300 after it was found out that the car he had purchased from them was initially cancelled due to a traffic accident, and later repaired and shipped to Bahrain.
The court stated that the seller withheld essential information from the customer, regarding the car’s issues.
An expert evaluated its value at just BD2,700, although it was sold for BD5,300. Problems began to emerge since the plaintiff began using the car.
