Bahrain: Customs foils attempt to smuggle illicit drugs using face masks
Four expats resorted to a new trick to smuggle marijuana, using face masks in order to deceive customs officials.
However, their attempt failed as the customs officials discovered that the face masks were sewed in a way to conceal the drugs. The defendants were notified to come and receive their package which in turn, is an arrest.
The defendants have been charged with smuggling and peddling outlawed drugs.
