Owners of damaged vehicles number plates have the chance to replace them with new ones free of charge.
This was announced by the General Directorate of Traffic on its official social media accounts and website.
The announcement comes after complaints by huge number of vehicle owners about the quality of the number plates shortly after installation.
The General Directorate of Traffic stated that it has been communicating with the company which manufactures and installs the plates regarding the customer complaints.
The company confirmed that the front metal plates are guaranteed for two years and the rear ones are guaranteed for three years from the date of changing them.
The General Directorate of Traffic calls on owners of damaged vehicles plates to visit the company’s office in the directorate’s premises to check the damaged plates’ condition and assured that they will be replaced free of charge if it is a manufacturing defect.
