Bahrain: Deaths on the Rise, 5 in a week, 18 in a month

A total of 18 people passed away as a result of various incidents in one month only, showed statistics issued by the Ministry of Interior Ministry. Incidents ranged from traffic accidents, drowning, and crimes with criminal suspicions. The statistic stated that last week witnessed the announcement of five death incidents.

First of which was on November 5, where the ministry announced the death of a female driver after a traffic accident on Shaikh Isa bin Salman Street near Sehla area. The next day, November 6, the northern governorate police announced the discovery of a charred body in Shahrakan area.

The following day, November 7, witnessed two deaths. The first was a 14-year-old Bahraini child who died after being hit by a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Bahraini while crossing an intersection on Amwaj Street. The second was an incident of a 38-year-old expat who was found dead in his residence in Muharraq area. The next day, November 8, the Ministry of Interior announced the death of a 21-year-old Bahraini, after his motorcycle deteriorated in Al-Fateh area.

The Ministry called on all drivers to take maximum safety procedures and abide by traffic regulations and speed limits to save the lives of drivers and others.
