Bahrain: Drivers Demand Cycling Awareness Campaigns
Complaints from drivers about irresponsible actions by bicycle riders on roads are increasing. This went viral and received a massive number of comments on social media.
Comments stated that the number of cycle riders increased dramatically recently due to the current restrictions from COVID-19. They added that some actions by these riders were irresponsible and dangerous.
The drivers also demanded the competent authorities to intensify awareness campaigns and allocate specific paths for bicycles and pedestrians in order to preserve everyone’s safety.
