Bahrain: Endurance season to open on Friday

The new endurance season (2022-2023) will open on Friday (October 14) at the Bahrain International Endurance Village.

The opening round features a 100-kilometre international qualifying race, and two local qualifying races covering 40 and 80 km.

Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) has stepped up preparations for the races which will be held on Friday and Saturday.

The international qualifying race and the 80km local qualifying race will be held on Saturday, while the 40-km race will be flagged off on Friday at 3 pm.

Over the past two days, Breef registered the horses owned by stables vying in the local and international qualifying races.

Breef welcomed all stables and jockeys who will take part in the opening races of the new endurance season.
