Bahrain: Expat Survives After 12-Wheel Truck Flips Over
An Asian miraculously survived a traffic accident with minor injuries after a 12-wheel truck deteriorated and flipped over.
Preliminary information about the accident, that was announced by the Ministry of Interior on its official social media accounts, occurred on Shaikh Isa bin Salman Street. Details stated that that due to the lack of attention and noncompliance with the traffic regulations, the driver of a 12-wheel truck lost control on the steering wheel which led to the truck to deteriorate and flip over.
Traffic police were present at the site and closed the road precautionary to prevent traffic jams and the driver was transferred to the nearest hospital.
The Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic stated that they initiated an investigation into the accident to figure out circumstances of the incident.
