Bahrain First in Middle East for English Proficiency

Bahrain topped the list of ten countries in the Middle East survey ahead of Iran (69) and Turkey (79).

Bahrain was ranked 55th out of 100 countries that speak English as a non-national language, according to the results of the English Proficiency Index (published by Education First.

Bahrain topped the list of Arab countries ahead of Tunisia (65th), the United Arab Emirates (70th) and Jordan (75th), Bahrain topped the list of ten countries in the Middle East survey ahead of Iran (69) and Turkey (79). According to the study, the Kingdom of the Netherlands was ranked the first in the world while Libya ranked last (100) according to the study.
