Sixteen expatriates were stranded at the Bahrain International Airport yesterday after an Air India Express flight scheduled for Kozhikode, failed to take off.

The airlines took the decision due to technical issues. While the rest of the passengers were provided with accommodation, the sixteen of them who had cancelled their visas before boarding the flight were stuck at the airport. This happened because the emigration officials did not allow them to be moved to accommodation facilities.
