Bahrain: Four COVID-19 Quarantine Violators Fined
Three home quarantine violators were fined BD1000 as home quarantine was imposed on them to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This was decided by the Lower Criminal Court.
In the same context, the Appeal Grand Court refused the appeal of a defendant accused of violating the home quarantine. The defendant was previously fined with BD2000.
The Public Prosecution stated that after its follow-up, it was found that violators did not adhere to the home quarantine and left their houses on different dates.
