The High Criminal Court sentenced four suspects to death for a bombing in 2017 that killed a 31-year-old policeman, Abdulsamad Haji.
The suspects were charged with murder, illegal possession, handling and use of weapons and an explosive device that claimed a human life and damaged public and private properties. They also received training on how to use weapons and explosives.
The court also ordered the suspects to collectively pay BD1,000 fine in compensation for the damages caused by the blast and revoked their citizenship.
The terrorist blast took place in the Diraz area where the suspects conspired to kill police officers by targeting security vehicles with explosive devices.
