Bahrain: Free, Unified Online Portal Launched

A free online portal (mall.bh) has been launched by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, allowing shops to sell their goods online.

This is in support of all businesses that have to shutter their services as per government announcements, and for the public to shop from a wide range of services online.

Companies, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have been urged to register on the website free of charge, so far 100 companies have already registered.

The aim is to create an electronic link between consumers and merchants.

A hotline and email have been set up to receive applications, and the website is to continue even after the coronavirus crisis.
