Bahrain: Friday Prayer Suspended From Today

As part of the pre-emptive measures to curb the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and ensure the safety of all, the Sunni Endowments Directorate has announced that Friday sermon and prayer will be suspended at all mosques in the Kingdom of Bahrain, starting from March 20, 2020 until further notice.

It also has been announced the closure of its event halls across the kingdom, starting from Saturday, March 21, until further notice.

The mosques will remain open for the five other daily prayers, the directorate added, wishing Bahrain constant security and safety.
