Bahrain: GPZ workers protest unpaid salaries

Unpaid workers took to streets by attempting a protest march from Sitra to Zayed Town, this morning.

Their march destined to end at the Labour and Social Development Ministry complex in Zayed Town came to an abrupt halt as police officers intervened.

The workers participating in the protest consisted of previous employees of G P Zachariades (GPZ) who are yet to receive their settlements as well as repatriation.

G.P. Zachariades Overseas Ltd (GPZ) is an engineering organisation, with 60 years of experience in the construction industry, undertaking developments for the public and private sectors.
