Kuwait hands over smuggled pharaonic artifacts
Five pharaonic artifacts confiscated at Kuwait International Airport have been over today to Egypt, said Head of artifacts and Museums at the National Council for Culture Arts and Literature (NCCAL) Sultan Al-Duwaish.
The invaluable artifacts which were smuggled from Al-Uqsur were examined by experts from Kuwait University, Poland and Egypt, who concluded that three were original pieces dating back to 1400 B.C, while two others were of questionable origins.
