Bahrain: Half Day Off for National Sports Day 2020

All ministries and state departments shall develop sports programmes for their staff.

Civil Service Bureau (CSB) President, Ahmed bin Zayed Al-Zayed, explained the resolution of the cabinet to consider February 11 as a half workday for all ministries, institutions and state departments, marking the National Sports Day 2020, to pave the way for their staff to engage in sports events on the day.

All ministries and state departments, subject to CSB Law 48/2010, shall develop sports programmes for their staff between 11:00 am and 02:00 pm, and were instructed to contact the Bahrain Olympic Committee in this regard.
