Bahrain: Hidd wins Nasser bin Hamad Premier League

Hidd has clinched the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League Championship after beating Busaiteen 2-0 in the 18th and last round.

Jasser Hamed scored the first goal 45 minutes into the match which was held this evening at the Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa Stadium in Arad.

Substitute Mamadou Trami netted the second goal in the 75th mn, sealing the final score and the trophy for Hidd.

The champions topped the table after totaling 41 points, followed by second-placed Muharraq, which raised its tally to 40 points after defeating Manama 1-0 in the match which was held at the Al-Ahli stadium in Mahooz.

This is the second time Hidd claimed the Bahrain football championship after lifting the maiden trophy during the season 2015-2016.
