Bahrain: Huge Waste-Fire in Salmabad
A huge waste-fire in Salmabad area was safely controlled. Not much of information was officially revealed by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, but preliminary information indicates that no injuries were recorded.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense, which announced the news on its official social media accounts, sent three vehicles and 12 officers and individuals to fight and control the fire and prevent it from spreading. The team precautionary evacuated the area until the job was done.
As for the cause of the fire, it is thought to be due to negligence by not attending to agricultural waste after burning it as the fire was in farms area.
