Bahrain: Lane closures announced for this weekend
The Ministry of Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning said that the improvement works on Sheikh Zayed Highway necessitate closure the closure of two lanes, while one lane will be provided for eastbound traffic
It also announced the full closure of Road 3205, adding that the traffic movement will be diverted to surrounding roads.
The closure will be effective from Thursday 31/12/2020 at 11:00 p.m. to Sunday 03/01/2021 at 05:00 a.m. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for the safety of all.
The minister said that improvement works of King Hamad Highway necessitate closure of some lanes as the following:
- Close the right lane for the northbound traffic near its junction with Highway 96 and one lane will be provided for traffic movement. The closure will be effective from Thursday 31/12/2020 at 10:00 p.m. to Saturday 02/01/2021 at 05:00 a.m.
- Close Highway 96 for traffic coming from King Hamad Highway and divert the traffic to the surrounding roads.
The closure will be effective from Thursday 31/12/2020 at 10:00 p.m. to Sunday 03/01/2021 at 05:00 a.m.
In a statement today, it announced that improvement works on King Hamad Highway near Askar Junction will necessitate closure of one lane on stages and one lane will be provided for southbound traffic.
The closure will be effective from Thursday 31/12/2020 at 10:00 pm. to Sunday 03/01/2021 at 05:00 am. All road users are requested to observe and obey the traffic rules for the safety of all.
