Bahrain launches Online Support for Corona Affected Families

A new online service allowing people affected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to register through national platform Bahrain.bh has been launched.

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) launched the Corona Registration Service, in cooperation with the Information and Electronic Government (iGA) to provide assistance to Bahraini families which were affected by the pandemic and alleviate their financial burdens during this exceptional situation.

People seeking more information and queries about the service are required to call the foundation daily during working times from 8 am until 2 pm on phone numbers 38104444 and 38284444.

The applications would be studied in cooperation with competent authorities to ensure they meet the eligibility terms and provide affected cases with aid.

The Corona Registration Service is a qualitative project which was launched for the first time to enable those affected by the pandemic outbreak to register and benefit from the Feena Khair proceeds.

The scheme would benefit categories affected by the pandemic, including private school bus drivers, productive families, employees working in the hospitality sector.

People from other affected categories can also register through the Corona Registration Service online platform and apply for assistance, pending evidence of their eligibility.
