Bahrain: LMRA Monthly Work Fees to be Terminated
The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has announced the termination of monthly work fees and fees for issuing and renewing work permits for a period of three months, starting from 1 April 2020.
The move follows the government’s recent announcement of a comprehensive economic stimulus package to support the economy during the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The LMRA highlighted its continued support for national efforts to counter the effects of the global spread of COVID-19, underlining its commitment to assisting the Kingdom’s small and medium sized enterprises.
