Three members of the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus members received the COVID-19 vaccine during a Press conference today.
Health Ministry Under-Secretary Dr Waleed Al Manea, National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (Covid-19) monitoring committee head Lt. Col. Manaf Al Qahtani and Consultant of Infectious and Internal Diseases at Salmaniya Medical Complex, Dr. Jameela Salman received the vaccine, stating that they decided to do so being frontline medical staff.
The vaccine is available for frontline workers on a voluntary basis.
