Bahrain: Ministry Inspectors Shut 3 More Pharmacies

Inspectors from The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism found that three pharmacies violated the decision of the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism by selling the N95 type masks for three dinars, while the price set for them was 1.4 dinars. Inspectors then shut down the outlet administratively, and legal procedures in this regard are being completed.

Another case where a company was intending to export 905 cartons of masks each containing 1000 pieces was called in, violating the decision of prohibiting exporting all types of medical masks for a period of three months.

The Ministry also called on all consumers and customers to immediately report any discovered observations or any complaints by contacting the Ministry’s communications centre at 80001700 or through the Tawasul application or any of the communication channels available in the Ministry.
