Bahrain: Ministry Shuts Down Food Warehouse in Hoora

“Health inspectors, in cooperation with the Hoora Police, shutdown a food warehouse in the Hoora area in the capital Manama,” revealed the Director of the Public Health Department at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Najat Abulfateh, to the press and media.

She noted that the shutdown came after seizing quantities of expired food that are stored in the warehouse.

She explained that the inspectors counted the quantities of the expired items in preparation for their destruction and disposal under the supervision of official authorities.

It is noteworthy that the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed Al-Zayani announced on March 17 that another warehouse that includes expired goods was discovered.
