The moon-sighting committee will convene on Friday morning to receive testimonies of the sighting of the new moon confirming the end of the month of Ramadan and the start of the month of Shawwal.
The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs said that anyone with information about the sighting of the moon should convey his testimony to the committee.
If there is a credible testimony accepted by the panel, Eid Al Fitr will be on Saturday.
