Bahrain: Mosques reopened for Fajr prayers

Bahrain has reopened mosques for Fajr prayers on Friday, Saudi Al-Arabiya TV reported.

Group Friday prayers will continue to be banned at mosques except at a limited capacity at the Ahmed Al-Fateh Islamic Center mosque, a statement by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments said.

Bahrain has suspended prayers in mosques and prayer rooms since May 28 to curb the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Jordan has joined Bahrain in the Phase III trials of the UAE’s inactivated coronavirus vaccine.
