Movie buffs in Bahrain will be able to watch a selection of films from the comfort of their own car on a massive screen this month.
Movie theatre chain Mukta A2 Cinemas and event management group PICO announced the launch of Drive-In BH, drive-in cinema in Bahrain.
The audience will be able to enjoy movies spanning a multitude of genres in the comfort of their seat alongside food, snacks and drinks, all while adhering to social distancing rules.
As an added safety precaution, cars would be parked at a safe distance from one another and all transactions would be contactless through digital solutions, a statement said.
Speaking of this special announcement, Rahul Puri, Mukta Arts’ managing director said in a press release, “It is a real feather in our cap that Mukta A2 Cinemas has launched the first drive-in theatre in Bahrain. Movies” soundtracks will be played on a dedicated radio channel which can be heard on car stereos. Along with a series of film nights, there will be stand-up shows, live music events, special performances before the actual movie screening, it added.
The theatre experience includes movie tickets, along with a substantial food and drinks package. They can also avail of an added menu option with gourmet offerings like hot dogs, burgers, nachos, and pizza.
