The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) announced yesterday the return of the Bahrain International Music Festival, now in its 33rd year. Running from 1 to 24 October, this event is a highlight of the cultural calendar in the Kingdom, showcasing a variety of musical styles that bridge Eastern and Western traditions.

In an Instagram post, the Authority hinted that this year’s festival will offer a distinctive experience, blending traditional and modern elements to serenade music lovers. The festival begins on 1 October at the Bahrain National Theatre with a special concert by Egyptian soprano Fatima Said. She will present a programme of Eastern and Western music that will enchant art lovers.
