Bahrain: Nadeen School Wins Two Property Awards as Construction Nears Completion

Nadeen School at Dilmunia, which has entered the final stages of construction, has won two prestigious property awards, its developer, Dilmunia Eduprop Company WLL announced. The developer is a joint venture between Ithmaar Development Company (IDC) and Naseej BSC.

Designed by Bahrain-based Mohamed Salahuddin Architects and Engineers Bureau (MSCEB), the new Nadeen School Bahrain at Dilmunia will accommodate 1,050 students of both genders up to 12th grade. It will include 44 classrooms and additional shared spaces to deliver a high-quality and healthy learning environment for students and teachers. With a built-up area of 22,500 sqm, the building features wide corridors and generous external open spaces in line with the best practices applied at the most prestigious international private schools.

The International Property Awards 2022-2023 celebrate the project’s quality, which can be witnessed on-site now. The building’s general orientation was designed to accommodate the surrounding environment. Nadeen School at Dilmunia includes a wide range of facilities such as teaching kitchens, a yoga studio, a staff gym, laboratories, libraries, a health centre, an art hall, music studios, a swimming learning centre with two swimming pools, and a large gymnasium and multi-use hall.

The school’s external facilities include a large open space to serve as an external teaching and learning area, gardens, educational terraces to provide an integrated educational experience and play areas that feature nature-inspired playgrounds, a small artificial river, and a football field.

Dilmunia is a mixed-use development built on a man-made island off the coast of Muharraq. With residences, a hotel, and leisure and shopping districts, this $1.6-billion project will offer residents and visitors a way of life centred on holistic wellness.
