Bahrain: No Curfew Required in the Kingdom

In a press conference held today, the Ministry of Health reiterated the decisions that will be continued in Bahrain, to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The ministry also announced that there is no curfew required in the Kingdom.

The Ministry stated that it is mandatory for all citizens and residents to wear masks in public places, to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The closure of cinemas, private pools and gyms will continue for another two weeks. Restaurants are still limited to delivery and takeaway and the first hour of food supply stores are still devoted to elderly and pregnant women. This is effective from 19h00, Thursday 09 April, to Thursday 23 April.

These decisions that have been announced today are aimed to strengthen the protection and safety of everyone in Bahrain, the Ministry added.
