Bahrain: No Health Examination Fees for All Residents
Staring from today, the Ministry of Health decided to cancel the BD7 fee which residents pay for examination service in health centers. Reliable sources exclusively told Albilad Newspaper.
Sources noted that the decision starts today, Thursday April 9th 2020, and continues until the end of the COVID-19 crisis.
The sources added that the decision comes at the current stage to conduct further tests for residents by encouraging them to visit health centers spread in all governorates of the Kingdom. They explained that the decision aims to strengthen the precautionary plan that the Kingdom is going to contain the spread of COVID-19.
For their part, many expatriates who visited the health centers in Manama and Muharraq confirmed that they had not paid any fees and had a free access to medical services.
