The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) has announced the launch of a new service allowing the owners of public transport vehicles such as taxis and tour buses to renew vehicle registrations online via the National Portal bahrain.bh.

Launched in coordination with Ministry of Transportation & Telecommunications (MTT) and the General Directorate of Traffic (GDT) and the Ministry of Transportation & Telecommunications (MTT), the service allows individuals and business owners to renew registrations of public transport vehicles via a single transaction, as both MTT and GDT’s and MTT’s fees have been combined as one payment that doesn’t require separate reviews by each organization, saving users’ time and effort.

iGA said that the service will differ depending on the type of user. Business owners will need to enter Commercial Registration (CR) numbers and expiry dates, then the registration type (taxis, on-demand taxis, rental vehicles, public transport vehicles, vehicles for tourist transport, or vehicles for construction companies).
