Starting January 1st, 2021, the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs will collect fees for cancellation and extension of residency permits. The authority said customers are required to remit prescribed fees for availing all such services.
The move follows the expiry of the exemption period, which ended on 31 December 2020.
NPRA said visit visas will remain valid until 21 January 2021, provided that the fees are paid when renewed through the e-government website or by visiting one of the service centres of NPRA.
