The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) gears up to host the second edition of the Baby Games next month in the Kingdom. The event is organized by the BOC from April 13 to 16, with kindergartens from all around the nation engaging in a number of sports activities.
The baby games event is set to feature a variety of sports contest for children. The event aims to create an awareness among youngsters to practice sports exercises at a young age promoting the Olympic principles and values.
A preparatory committee, comprising representatives of the BOC projects directorate, has conducted coordination meetings with officials from the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social Solidarity to set up a comprehensive plan in preparation for the second edition of the games.
The organizers have planned field visits to a number of kindergartens in Bahrain to meet up with the children to take part in the five-day sports event.
