Bahrain: Operators Trained For New Passenger Terminal Building

New Passenger Terminal Building

Training programs on how to effectively operate the new Passenger Terminal Building have been completed for 1,300 employees, accounting for 27% of the staff population ahead of the project’s launch this year.

More than 500 staff from BAC, BAS, and the Ministry of Interior were also trained on the new passenger terminal building facility’s information and communication technology (ICT) and baggage handling systems (BHS) through 70 contractor-specific training sessions.

In addition to the training plan developed by Fraport, the terminal’s operations readiness and airport transfer (Orat) consultant, the program is expected to accelerate over the next three months to include more staff and cover all required technical aspects before the scheduled launch of the project.
