Bahrain: Over 1 million people tested till date

Out of 9647 COVID-19 tests carried out on 19 August 2020, 369 new cases have been detected among 134 expatriate workers, 232 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 3 are travel related. There were 357 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 44278.

Till date, the number of COVID-19 tests conducted has reached 1,000,787.

There are currently 39 cases in a critical condition, and 75 cases receiving treatment. 3455 cases are stable out of a total of 3494 active cases.
