Bahrain: Over 150 Odias to Fly Home on 20th June

Air India has scheduled a repatriation flight from Bahrain to Bhubaneswar on 20th June as part of Vande Bharat Mission Phase three. This came following the appeal by Odias in Bahrain to help the distressed to return home at the earliest.

Albilad had earlier reported that over 150 natives of Odisha in Bahrain had been left unemployed owing to the coronavirus outbreak. Most of them are now surviving on their saving which is running out fast stated Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain. Besides the unemployed, the Minister emphasized the need to repatriate senior citizens, pregnant women.
