Bahrain: Over 3,000 recoveries recorded

Out of 15,444 COVID-19 tests carried out on 2 June 2021, 1,936 new cases have been detected among 868 expatriate workers, 1,064 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 4 travel related. There were 3,005 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 216,832.

Twenty-two deaths were recorded yesterday taking the toll up to 1,031. No information was provided on the ages of those who died or whether they suffered any pre-existing medical conditions.

There are currently 331 cases in critical condition, and 388 cases receiving treatment. 26,532 are stable out of a total of 26,863 active cases.
