Bahrain: Over 5 million coronavirus tests conducted

Out of 12493 COVID-19 tests carried out on 27 June 2021, 252 new cases have been detected in Bahrain. Of the new cases, 126 were expatriate workers, 122 were contacts of active cases, and 4 travel related. There were 553 recoveries recorded yesterday, increasing total to 259787.

There are currently 96 cases in a critical condition, and 45 cases receiving treatment. A total of 4019 individuals are stable out of 4115 active cases.

MOH also announced that 5,002,880 PCR tests have been conducted to date.
