The Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA) announced today that the offices of the Passport Directorate in the headquarters in Manama will be opened on Saturday, December 1 from 8 am to 8 pm, to issue elections cards for citizens who their passports are lost, damaged or taken by any official authority after presenting documents to prove such reasons.
This initiative is taken to facilitate the participation of the citizens in the second round of the parliamentary and municipal elections. The ready passports could be received from the main branch and Isa Town and Muharraq offices during the same period.
The NPRA reminds the citizens to take their passports with them while casting their votes even if they are expired as they can vote if their ID cards are valid.
