Bahrain: Pfizer booster shot available for those who got Sinopharm vaccine

Bahrain has made the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine available as a booster shot to those initially immunized with the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.

Those eligible could receive a booster dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech or Sinopharm vaccines regardless of which vaccine they had initially taken, a government representative said.

The government is not recommending which booster shot is chosen, they added.
