The Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra is preparing to perform “Sound of Spain” concert, under the baton of Maestro Dr. Mubarak Najem, at the Bahrain National Theatre on November 22.
The concert, organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), will showcase celebrated works of Spanish music, with the orchestra performing compositions by renowned Spanish artists, accompanied by performances that blend music with dance, reflecting the richness and heritage of Spanish culture.
The Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 2022 by Dr. Mubarak Najem, conductor of the Police Band and founder of the Bahrain Music Institute, and comprises over 100 musicians and choir members, marking a significant addition to Bahrain’s music scene.
The event is part of Bahrain’s commitment to the arts, which form an essential part of the nation’s identity and cultural heritage, as well as positioning the Kingdom as a global cultural hub.
