Bahrain: Proposal for Underground Garbage Containers

In the context of efforts made by the Northern Municipal Council to design plans and development programs towards future projects, a proposal was submitted to the Chairman of the Council Ahmed Al-Kooheji to activate the project of underground garbage containers.

The Chairman of the Council stated that the proposal aims to improve the environmental situation, and concern for human health and the environment, especially in light of the Kingdom’s urban growth, as well as the plans towards the urban interface of the areas and villages of the northern municipality.
