Bahrain records second-lowest average salary among Gulf countries

Bahrain has ranked 28th globally and fifth in the Gulf with the highest average monthly salary for workers. According to the US magazine CEO World’s classification, the Kingdom has recorded a $1,728.74 average monthly wage which is sixth in the Arab world.

The list features average monthly earnings from at least 105 countries. Five Gulf countries rank in the top five in average monthly salaries.

The smallest average monthly salary exists in Sri Lanka. In our comparison of over 105 countries, the USA comes 4th with a monthly net salary of 3721.64 USD. The average gross monthly wage per full-time employee in the United Arab Emirates was $3,663 per month. The UAE tops the Arab world while placing fifth in the world to become the only country regionally among the top 10 countries in the overall list.
