Bahrain records 1,182 new Covid-19 cases, 7 deaths

Out of 15,428 COVID-19 tests carried out on 30 April 2021, 1,182 new cases have been detected among 451 expatriate workers, 701 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 30 are travel related. There were 1,024 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 165,928.

Seven deaths were recorded among five male citizens aged 74, 77, 68, 67 and 43, one male expat aged 52 and one female expat aged 85. No further information was provided on whether they suffered any pre-existing conditions.

There are currently 87 cases in critical condition, and 186 cases receiving treatment. 10,273 are stable out of a total of 10,360 active cases.
