Bahrain: All Food Markets Will Remain Open

“Food markets will continue to work and open in the usual way,” stated that the Minister of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning, Eng. Esam Khalaf, after the government announced the closure of certain entities starting tomorrow.

Khalaf noted that the continuity of opening food stores was due to their importance to people’s lives and the provision of their daily requirements. He stressed the necessity of taking the necessary health precautions and not neglecting the instructions issued by the national team combat COVID-19.

Khalaf called on citizens to deal with this issue with a high degree of responsibility and not to compromise health precautions for the sake of the supreme national interest.
