Bahrain Records 29th COVID-19 Death

The Ministry of Health announces the death of an 84-year-old female Bahraini national, a registered active case of coronavirus suffering from underlying and chronic health problems.

The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time. The patient, along with all other active COVID-19 cases, had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team.

There are currently 68 cases receiving treatment, of which 12 are in a critical condition. 5,084 cases are stable out of a total of 5,096 active cases.

29 deaths have been reported so far.
