Bahrain reduces waiting period for COVID-19 booster dose

Bahrain’s National Medical Taskforce has today updated the booster dose criteria for vaccinated and recovered individuals.

Vaccinated individuals aged 18 to 39 can receive their booster dose three months after the second dose.

Vaccinated individuals aged 40 above and those under 40 years who suffer from obesity, immunodeficiencies or chronic diseases can receive their booster dose one month after the second dose.

Recovered individuals who have been vaccinated with two doses can receive their booster dose six months after the second dose.
