Bahrain reports 179 additional coronavirus cases

The Ministry of Health confirmed that it detected an additional 179 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total of cases reported today to 330.

Of the 179 new cases reported, 157 are expatriate workers and 22 are contacts of active cases.

The Ministry of Health also recorded 6 recoveries from COVID-19 today, increasing total recoveries in Bahrain to 2,055. 

Currently, a total of 178,353 people have been tested and  2,711 active cases have been confirmed, amongst which 2 patients are in critical condition.

Eight deaths have been recorded in total.
